Tuesday ~ already

Hi Everyone it's Tuesday already, busy week ahead, with no showing of our house.  We will think about dropping price when we are home from Anchorage.. DH and I will be heading up this weekend for a week, on our house hunting trip......can't wait.  Tomorrow I have to pick up my passport, for our trip had to get a renewal before going.
Next week we are having the realtor tour come through our place, so hopefully it's a nice day for the in laws to be away while they all come by to check our place out.
This week, DD and her fellow grade 4's and 5's are heading over to Vancouver, to spend the night at the Aquarium....I'm sure she will have lots of fun. DS is heading out on Saturday for his last FTX for Cadets, they are riding to Sydney (Victoria) and then heading to an island to spend the night....fingers crossed for nice weather.

Saturday ~ Beautiful Day in the neighborhood

Well it's very nice here in Sooke, to bad I have to work later.... =(  I'm off tomorrow and Monday, and I'm not so sure Mother Nature is going to pull off another day like today....but fingers crossed.... =)

The housing market is really slow, and have only had one showing....fingers crossed some people want to check out and buy our place.  I will keep you up to date in this department ... =)

Not much happening around here this week, just getting ready for our House hunting trip up to Anchorage, Alaska  next weekend for a week....super excited....can't wait to take my camera and snap  alot of pictures......

Wednesday ~ Day off from work

Not that great of a day weather wise, it's over cast and rain on and off.  I wanted to cut our grass but it will have to wait for a nicer day.  Last night late I made cupcakes, so today I decorated them, making Sock Monkey and plain Chocolate cupcakes. I got the SM cupcake idea from www.Pinterest.com

DH and DD and I went in with my works entry, we pushed these shopping carts....zip tied together.....not as easy as you think....wish we had got in the boat, so we could wave more..... =)

DS went in with 2289 5th Field Regiment Royal Canadian Army Cadets, they usually march the Parade, but ended up riding down with the 5th (British Columbia) Field Regiment Royal Canadian Artillery.   

After we finished the Parade we headed over to the Parliament Building, to find DS, we waited for noon, then the 5th (British Columbia) Field Regiment Royal Canadian Artillery fired a 21-gun salute from Belleville St in front of the Legislature to mark the Queen’s birthday.

I have some annual to plant, my winter Pansy's have seen better days, so will add acouple of pictures when I finish.....just hear a loud sound....did another bird hit our back window......stay turned...yes one hit again....but lived to fly another day.....=)

Wednesday ~ beautiful day

So today I finished the many dump runs, touched up some paint, made some Choc Cupcakes, need to figure out what kind of icing etc I will make on them.

So these are what I came up with.....Butter Cream icing and a maraschino cherry to top it off :

The appraise Lady came to our house to do her thang, we will know her results in 7 to 15 days .....  Tammy Gray our realtor is coming tonight to get this house on the market.   I was hoping to know what the appraise price was, so we could price appropriately.   Not looking forward to keeping the house spotless all the time but it has to be done....sometimes I wish I could just keep it like this always.....one day I'm guessing it will happen.

Things are moving along quickly it seems now, you wait so long for your message to come and then it's full throttle .....  Fingers cross for a quick sale..... =)

Tuesday

So today, I head downtown to the Bay Center, to get my Passport Renewed.  I'm expecting a big line up so I figure I had better not find parking on the street, so I head to the Parkade.  Head up the escalator, for the top floor, not many people in the mall yet, so find the Food Court floor, and find the Passport office, walk in head for the line.....What line.....10 mins later, and I'm paying $97 and have to pick it up in 10 days, the 30th......nothing like cutting it close, we leave on the 3rd of June..... for our House Hunting Trip. 

I went to the Base to drop off my Birth Cert to DH, for our new Passports for our Posting, and then came home, cut the grass.  And picked up some paint for our place and the door sweepers.

 Tuesday is Cadet night so DS and I will be heading down to the Armory tonight for that....I guess that will be coming to an end soon, June 5th is the ACR....and then maybe one night for clean up and that will be it for another year.  DS got invited to spend 3 weeks in Vernon again, but with our move is unable to attend. He was looking forward to another Camp.  Hopefully they have something similar in the USA, but maybe with all the snow/cold and ice Hockey will be enough..... =)

Oh ya I wanted to say Good Bye to my Treadmill.....you have been with me for 10+yrs, and I'm sad to see you go, but your are heavy and need repair.....so RIP my friend.....

Another Manic Monday..... =)

So we had a busy weekend, Friday was my day off and the sun was shining so I decided this was the day for my garage sale/moving sale.  Took the kids to school, then hung up signs, and started unloading the garage.  I didn't have to many people come by, but left out the stuff until almost dark.  I also touched up the paint around the doors and window frames .....

So Saturday morning up early for Day 2 of the sale, the morning was busy busy, just had it until 12pm because I had to work.  I took a few pictures while waiting for customers......=) here's a few:

So today I did a dump run..... oh ya a lady ended taking all my left over stuff from my garage sale, and some Free stuff disappeared, so just have to clean the house in the inside, and then the Appraisal lady is coming on Wed and also our realtor.  I'm heading to get my passport renewed tomorrow, in prep for our HHT (House hunting trip)

Oh ya had a wonderful Mother's Day, working.....but came home to an amazing Greek dinner  ...thanks family xoxoxo
