Happy Thanksgiving 2019!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!  I can't believe it's already mid October.  Life gets busy, and as I get older life seems to be flying by. 
We had our first snow fall of Winter 2019, on Monday, it's just about gone now, but I'm sure it wont be the last snow this year.  We had a really cold in my eyes, summer so I'm hoping this winter doesn't reflect that, or it will be another long winter. 

I guess I could crochet more....lol I have started my hibernation...lol

April 9 2019

Good Morning, can't believe it's April 9th already, our winter is still hanging around, not sure what Mother Nature has in store for us this summer.

I have been busy crocheting up a storm, trying to keep up with all the items I pin on my Pinterest account....that will never happen, but with cooler days, I still have some time yet.....=)

We are super proud of our son, he Graduated from Military Basic Training and is ready to build his career with the Royal Canadian Navy.

We wish we lived closer to him, but he has family close, for visits.

DD has started to play Rugby with her school, she has her first game today, we will see how she likes it, but so far is liking it.

Aug 16, 2019-looking for our Summer

Hello, it's been awhile since I have updated....not sure what has me busy, but the days seem to be flying by.  Our summer has been a bit wet, my sister says it's been her worst summer, since she has moved here to Alberta, any moons ago....=) One thing that is happy for the rain, is the grass/plants, and forest.  We have mushrooms, growing all over our yards.
  I have been enjoying Rhubarb from our yard and my neighbor gave me the go ahead to use theirs as well.  Also just started picking their Raspberries....I had to first pin them back, because the bushes were laying on the ground.  I did, get gifted some raspberries plants from another neighbor and they are planted we will see if they come back next year.
I have been busy making a flower bed in the back yard, earlier in the season.  Last weekend it took me 2 days to weed out the grass and weeds growing in me beds, but my plants are growing nicely and I hope for divide some of my plants next spring and buy some new ones as well....=)
  I was going to make a water fixiture in our yard, but decided to buy one at Homedept we can move with us.  
We did take a Griswold vacation, we took the road to Saskatoon, then back to Drumheller https://www.dinosaurvalley.com  and we took a self guided tour at High River hoping to see filming on Heartland, http://heritageinn.net/locations/high-river-ab/blog/high-river-home-of-heartland then we had a few days at the Calgary Stampede https://www.calgarystampede.com/
We did some shopping in Edmonton, on our round trip, back home. 

That's our summer in a nut shell...it's not over, hoping the sun stays around and we can enjoy!!

Hello out there, it's been awhile since I last posted....almost a year ago....not sure where the time has gone.  We have had a cold winter, and it's starting to feel like spring is on it's way.

DD's hockey has wrapped up, for another year. She's going to be looking for a job and enjoying some free time.

DS is at Military Basic Traing and is going to be Graduating next week....we are so proud of him, and look forward to hearing about him many adventures.

DH and I are busy, and I know I'm happy to see warmer weather coming, and I'm sure before long complain about the heat....=)

Well just wanted to update, that we are still enjoying our time here, and are all just swimming through our days, wonderfully....=)  Family, Tea and Crochet are with me every day....almost....I'm not addicted...okay thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.
