It's been an icy rink around here so far this year.......NOT the Alaska we all want.....record low snow fall again so far to date....and a warmer then average temps. Seems the mountains are getting snow, just not down in the valley areas. It's a bummer and I want SNOW....I'm calling out to the snow gods.....please bring us snow.
We are still living in the Great Alaskan wilderness......I still do many hiking with a group of Canadian Ladies that are posted her in Alaska as well.....so much fun....I will post a couple of pictures below.

Yesterday we went to watch Carlisle play hockey the Officer's vs the Enlisted guys.....Carlisle's team didn't win this year but has won the last two, so I guess it's only fair......=)

Soon Fur Rondy will begin leading up to the Iditarod........wonder will we get more snow before that happens would love to go to Willow to see the start....but don't think we will travel to Fairbanks if the race is moved again this year.
Oh ya for Christmas I got a fit bit.....so I'm on a mission to get my 10,000 steps or more a day.....so more activity happening....have a great weekend, I will update soon.....=)
