It’s passed midnight on April 7, 2024….it’s way passed my bed time. Not really, I have been staying up way to late and then sleeping in. I have been doing a cross stitch project, and it’s almost done, just doing the back stitching.
I haven’t been keeping this blog updated, I think I better do better….. I’ll put it on my monthly to do list.
Should I start this update from last year, with an update of the whole year. Or just start from today/night!!
Today I planted two seed packs of sweet peas, I soaked the seeds in water overnight, although, where I planted them in my back corner around my trellis, it was very mucky, with standing water. I made a little ditch with my boot, later I had to wash my boots with the outside tap, or there would have been mud everywhere….and you know the maid wouldn’t be happy about that. Of course when I’m referring to the maid…it’s me….the homemaker….domestic goddess….etc the thing is, there’s no one to blame things on with just the two of us, and hubby was making dinner…🥰
We had snow, a few days ago, it was about 2 inches, of wet Vancouver Island kind of snow, wet and heavy. And was a bit slippery when I cleared the driveway. That was a decision I didn’t know what to do- should I clear the driveway or not….but I did. And a few hours later most of the snow had melted. But I knew if I hadn’t cleared the driveway, we would of had freezing temps again, and made more work for myself. One thing to look forward to these days…..spring and summer…..😎
Well that’s it for tonight, I was just waiting for my movie to end, and now I’m heading to bed.
