May 28 2014 ~ Summer time is here in Alaska

Hi everyone, so tomorrow will make the one week of the kids being out of school, hard to believe another year has flown by.  Both kids are moving on to the next grade, with DD in Grade 7 and DS in Grade 12 that's right DS will be graduation next year.

Memorial weekend we planned on camping at Sterling again this year with our Canadian friends, but with forest fires burning close to our camp site, we all decided to change our destination. So ended up camping (us in a Cabin) closer to home, about a 15 min drive.  We had smokey skies most of the weekend, but had a great time.
