Saturday morning went to a Self Defense class with the Canadian Ladies, it was a lot of fun....my knee and one arm was a bit sore the next day. Learned a few things, and hope I never have to use it. After class 12 or so of us went out for lunch to Jalapeno's, it was a fun day.
Sunday DS went Paint balling with Canadian kids, Marc and Janet drove DS, DD and I went to the movie Hotel Transylvania. We finished about the same time, meet back up with Marc and Janet, picked up DS and we went to Taco Bell....the kids favorite Fast Food these days...=)
We went to the Arena for 4:30pm to watch some friends (Bantam C boys) and the Canadian Det Hockey team play against each other. it was a good game and the score ended up being 5-5.
Came home watched the end of the Avatar Movie, and then I got my Red Pepper Jelly ready to the Season Primer of Revenge. Some of the Canadian Ladies, went to Colleen's house to watch it.....it's going to be an exciting year....So after Elaine checked her phone and Scotty posted are you enjoying the Northern Lights....all of us ran to check them out. I got so excited....wish I would have had my good camera, the iPhone didn't pick up anything....=( so I get my stuff and head out, on the hunt for some Northern Lights photos. Get home and they aren't here....=( I was so mad. I got my camera ready, just in case....saw on FB that they would be back later. I did end up driving to find some, but they had stopped for the time being. So I drove around for an hour, nothing and no real great look out area I could find. it's 10:30 about this time. I put on a movie and get my crochet....next thing I know it it's 12:15am, time for bed.....I look out my window and to my surprise again the lights are back......=) I grab my camera, tripod, jacket and shoes and head out into the yard. Here's a pic from last night....=) I was one happy camper let me tell you.So it's Monday a new day, a new week, a new month...=)
