OMG Sept 1st 2012....it's hard to believe

Today DH was up early, he doesn't want to get out of his 3 hr ahead routine....he's going home (back to Oklahoma City) Monday morning at 6am, well his flight leaves that early he has to be there 1 hour early.  But doesn't get there until Midnight....a big lay over in Minneapolis.  Wish he could spend more time home... =( but this weekend was better then not at all....=)

So we had Eggs Benny for breakfast, they tasted pretty good, haven't had then in a long time.  They are one of my favorite breakfasts...but I'm a bit of a Benny snob....can't see buying them at a restaurant....I can just make them better.....well I don't make the Hollandaise sauce, but loved my pouched eggs. (okay so if my spelling is off...it's two things...I can't spell for one and second the spell checker can't figure out what I'm trying to spell)

DD opened her Birthday gifts, she got a quilt set, and an ice cream maker...and some other things.  I'm washing her sheets now and will post a picture when her bed is ready... =)  As for the on sale ice cream maker....boy was that a big project.  No wonder it was on sale...it's alot of work...we first have to cook the mixer, add eggs....etc...now we have to cool the mixture....then we need rock salt.....and lots of ice....it's alot more then the machine.   We are going to make one batch and see how it turns out....then decide if it's going back or not.....stay tuned for that adventure.

Today I looked at the Frog Cake and it looks good, will keep in frig until we are going to have it...just in case.  Well got to go for now...will post more later.... =) Happy Saturday all!!
