Sept 12 2012 ~ Wednesday

Today we woke up to rain...but now it's 12:32pm and it has stopped raining.  Today I had to do some calling around.....I am so glad I got stuff done outside yesterday.   I'm not sure the grass could of waited another day or two.  So I have been thinking about the gardens I'm going to be putting in next year and on my run Monday I saw a house that had either burnt up or is just being torn down.  So I today I drove over to see if I could get some of the wood for the gardens....recycling time....so I get over there...and it's all gone....=( they must of bulldozed it...and trucked it away....=(  so sad.

But I did talk to Will (Ruth and Lucille's Dad) and he said for his gardens he just used regular wood, cost about $50 or so...or he said you can get railroad ties /old ones for $8 a piece....but they weigh about 100 lbs each....so I will think about this more...http://www.byexample.com/homestead/gardens/constructing_raised_garden_beds.html

I hate the computer some times....I'm all ready to start typing/blogging away...I have got stuff to say...then my flighty brain...finds stuff...a lot of different stuff and next thing you know, and about an hour or so later..... I don't know what I was going to say....sigh....the story of my life, my brain goes a mile a minute...and some times even faster....and I have to get it out or it's lost....big sigh.
