So it's time to get some groceries, hopefully the power never goes out that long here....it wasn't fun.....but now we will be prepared more if there is a next time. One of the Adventures of Alaska...and I'm sure there will be many more....=)
So talking to DH yesterday and with the first frost, we are thinking it's time to look for snow tires before the snow comes....so I have to get some prices and what kind of tires to get etc...
I have been crocheting making some scarves, and going to make a few hats again...winter is coming you know...=)
Saturday I went to the Meet and Greet, at the Hanson's house, car pooled down with Chris, Elaine, Holly, Colleen and Courtenay. It was great to know everyone more, we are going to have some fun times I'm sure...can't wait...=) Wish DH was home to enjoy these times with me/us...but his course will be over before we know it.
So I have been working on our Christmas letter, and thinking about Christmas shopping...have to think a head because of the shipping to Canada....and how long things will take.
Oh ya not sure if I mentioned this before but baking here sucks....made a bar for the party on the weekend and it didn't turn out like it did in Canada, and talking to some ladies at the party said that we live in a higher altitude area out here....so to check out that on the internet...so I will be doing that, seems like I have to add more flour.....then you think did I put to much or to little in...it that why...it's frustrating any how.
So today I'm going to head out for a run after DD heads off on the bus....I have my new iphone nike running app.....I had the wrong app before so now I'm set. Just thinking I shouldn't have had that big of a tea....well by the time we head out the tea maybe emptied from my bladder...=)
