We woke up early, to go to the fair. We took a long cut....Along old Glenn hwy. saw some country living. A speedway, with a sign out front saying "race today".
We got to Palmer at 9:30am, so we found "will call" to get a parking pass, got back to purple parking and found out that they sell the parking tickets at the gate. We are close to the front of one line because we already had our park pass....we wait for 10am. It was nice to take pictures before lots of people showed up. We spend time looking around, then headed to the barn, to see all the prize winning flowers, fruit, and produce....then moved on to the live stock. I loved the pigs .... Thinking of Charlotte's Web, the movie...=)
We explored some more then headed towards the ride area, then we looked around, decided to have lunch $48 later, we head over towards the lumber jack area for the 1pm show. Enjoyed the show, lots of laughs. After we are pretty cold so head for the truck...and head for home. Stopped for milk and pizza...had a great weekend, sad to see it coming to an end. DH is heading out tomorrow at 6am. Well will update soon, bye for now
