Its so nice to have the power back on...not liking the storms around here....apparently we have those around here, but in the winter the trees are frozen in the ground so they don't get up rooted.
Today we had to get up for DS's hockey practice, at 9am....went to go to the rink and we had frost on the truck....time to start parking in the garage I guess....it's to soon. my Iphone said it was 39 when we where at the ice rink, we got home and our outside thermometer said 1....no sun was shining on it...and the hills/mountains are starting to get white....winter is coming....and fast...=)
Heading to a Canadian Spouse party tonight....so should be fun, I made a bar...and I'm not happy how it turned out...it's good don't get me wrong...and then I made some red velvet cupcakes...not that great either...I got a cake mix at home (BC Canada) and it tasted really good....not this one...=(
Tomorrow we are doing not much, just hanging out...maybe some laundry...and groceries.....we will see...okay well have a great weekend
ps stopped at a church garage sale and picked up a bunch of wool for a scarf or two.... =) stay tuned for some pictures....bye for now
