Sept 17 2012 ~ Monday already.... =)

Monday already, can't believe it, time is just flying by, got the kids off to school, then I went for a run, 1 down 2 more to go this week, last week I only got in 2 so it was a bit hard to start today.  It was raining when I started but halfway it stopped and was a bit warm even....my body temp was up I'm sure...=) Still trying to run my whole route...but can't make it up the hills.... =(

Today Chris is going to come over to discuss my Crochet Boot Cuff, I have started making...they seem to be a hot ticket item here...with winter on the top of the mountains....=)  I have made 5 pairs so far, and 2 of them are different, I tried a pattern in my head to have buttons, so that they can be adjusted easier to fit everyone....will post pictures later on RM hats....=)

It looks like we dodged the wind storm....=)  of course when your ready, nothing happens.  Our power did flicker on Saturday night before bed and then went off twice on Sunday but came right back on...=)  The trees around the yard were really at an angle at times during the day...hopefully that will be it for storms.  Our friends had a tree come down onto their house, but no damage...thank goodness.  I guess we get these storms a lot, but in the winter the trees are frozen into the ground, so they sway but aren't up rooted.

Saturday we went bowling, I like the dark bowling alley's but it's really hard to take pictures in, and I'm not practiced up on pictures in darker locations...=(  so I did take a few pictures but they aren't good at all...  I also picked up our new snow tires....

so will be getting them in Mid Oct, before the snow hits...=)
